Backstabbed!

Even when i m beginning to write this blog, i write it with a lots of mental stress, and words that were uttered which is so untrue! "Backstabber" though i personally believe that i might not be in any capacity to do so, some believe its potentially possible. Like the HSBC Advertisement, which says different people different views, its one of those views i guess. It often amazes me when people come running to me for Help, needs something to be influenced, want a introduction, etc... they come with all willingness, cos they know that i can get the job done. Basically, "A Man who knows how to get things done." - Courtesy Shaw-shank Redemption :) However, when their job is done, they essentially use the Verb form of "Backstabber" which makes it "Backstabbing" on you. When i blog, there is some controversy, some real life incident attached to it. People don't like it. Do i not have the right to express myself? sometimes, a person who looks tough on the outside, has feelings, emotions to express too. In a democratic country like India, you are free to express your self in any form of media isn't it? The world's youngest billionaire, Mark Zukerberg wrote a blog about his girlfriend, people had things to say. But the ugly truth is hes famous now. I'm not saying i m following his foot steps, nor his he my benchmark/idol/role model. However, freedom of expression is still a right!

I am a very social and outgoing person, i meet a lots of people who are really classy! I mean it in the superlative degree. Do i always meet classy people ? the answer my friend is no, because you meet classy people, you also tend to meet the other category of people. By other category, i mean the one who wants his/her work done and throw you away! What do they get out of it? the answer to this simple question my friend is, they have never seen themselves to be on top! when u are on top and you get all the attention and you know all the better people, they want to pull you down! having said all this, the ultimate thing that keeps me going is the classy people, the love and affection they have been showering on me as my friends! Yes the world is unfair, look at the part when people care for you, i guess the rest is history! When you look at the fair part, i think the backstabbing might look like someone scratched your ass :P That's all Folks! Aurevoir ! Good night I m signing off for now!

Pondicherry, A Biker's Diary...

Over 700Km of Bike ride, Absolute adventure and thrilling Indian roads to battle against the heat this summer. I (Carthik) and my friend Angry Banker (Sanket) Decided to ride to my hometown Pondicherry. To our surprise, we left Bangalore at 5.30 Am on a Friday morning the 8th of April 2011.

I was pretty much excited, as my brother Sriram, was an expert on the unexplored beaches in Pondicherry. One thing was decided before we begun the trip, we maintain speeds not more than 70-75kmph. I drove my Yamaha FZ and Sanket his Bullet. As we drove to our destination, we halted at soolagiri for breakfast @ A2B. When we were about to leave, we met couple of other bikers. They were heading to Kodai. What an Irony! But, they were well mannered gentlemen all working for Bill Gates :) One thing that i must admit is the roads from silk board Bangalore to Krishnagiri, was wonderful! The next 70-80 Kms was treacherous; the roads were very moody like a girlfriend ;) There would be a sudden stretch of smooth roads, and then there would be humps! And thanks to some real sensible driving by the Tamilnadu bus drivers. They wouldn't care to kill you. I saw blank images like 3-4 times. Like a lucky to be alive kinds :) The bus drivers would sway from right to left like drunken monkeys.

As we approached Tamilnadu, i could experience a total sense of belonging, my people etc... Given a choice, I’d stay back and never go to Bangalore. However, i need a means of survival, my life style has changed, and I’d find it difficult to cope up. Sanket and i took regular break to make sure that, we don't stretch too much. The best part of the highway ride is when the breeze hits you hard on the face, the sweet smell of burning rubber(Tyre's) and the excitement to clock more Kms. Ah, i brilliantly, forgot to get my bike papers( RC book, License etc...) I realized that i dint have my papers half way through! However, i was quiet confident of not getting caught :) Soon we crossed couple of towns like Thiruvannamalai, Gingi. End of Bad roads. We reached Thindivanam, and halted for some Tender cucumber. I mentioned to Sanket, that we will never find such stuff in Bangalore. While we enjoyed the cucumber, we were few Kms away from our destination. Finally, we reached Pondicherry. I and Sanket were waiting for my brother to arrive, in the meanwhile, the cops in Pondy saw Sanket with is mask, helmet, knee caps, Leather jacket and leather gloves. They doubly wanted to make sure he was not a terrorist :) I however, managed to escape without my papers. Oh, i totally forgot. It was election time in TN and Pondy, hence we could find a lot of campaigns, fake promises and crowded streets.

Sriram, my brother arrived, and we managed to find a descent place to stay. AC, Television and the room rent was 750 bucks for a night! We rested for a while, and went around a couple of places. It was Nostalgic Moments as i showed my Co- biker Sanket, right from my house to school that i was educated in. We had loads of fun. In a place like Pondy, it's a crime just to visit and not consume loads of Alcohol. Plus, the advantage is, you get alcohol at dirt cheap prices there. We bought 4 bottles of Budweiser beer for 200 bucks. Sanket was astonished. Absolutely exhausted by the bike ride, the beer was consumed like chilled water. After the sweet pain, it was time to quench some thirst! Sriram, i and Sanket talked all about tattoos, bikes etc… while watching a true war Chennai Super kings Vs Kolkata Night Riders ;)

Saturday Morning was time for some beach hopping; Sriram took us to some unexplored places that i have not seen since my childhood! We covered about 4 beaches in Pondy. The best was near kirimambakkam, close by his college, we drove on our bikes on this beach. It was an exhilarating experience i must say. We had a mega episode happening on this beach. Sanket's bullet got stuck and the waves just gave his bike a free bath :) Yes loads of water entered the silencer, and the bike wouldn't start. I and Sriram managed to get out to the shore, while Sanket was struggling and yelling for help like Tom Hanks in the move Cast Away! It was a site to watch a banker yelling for help ;) Couple of my friends (Niranjan, Sam, Preethi and Vasu) had come to Pondicherry from my French class, they invited me to catch up with them, and meanwhile, we visited another island beech called the chumabar. A boat takes you to an island beach. It was a great experience! We had a gala time at the beach. Later, we headed to a Punjabi dhaba in the city, great food! My co-biker was surprised by the quantity of chicken that they severed! 1/2 butter chicken = 2 full butter chicken's in Bangalore. Just when the night was creeping in, we met my French class friends. They were staying by the side of the beach, it was an amazing place. We partied at the rooftop! Until about 2.30 - 3.00 AM in the morning! And went on to eat the most expensive food! Yes we paid 500 bucks for 2 plates of biryani and veg curry!

We had to leave the next day; we had another episode of my co-biker's bullet not starting up. The hotel owner was kind enough to find us a bullet mechanic on a Sunday Morning at about 7 AM. The bike was fixed and we rode back to Bengaluru with a heavy heart! However, we were glad to be back as we had to meet one of our friends who wanted to her wedding. Actually both the bride and the groom :) we browsed over the pictured that we had taken in Pondy and rolled over laughing. The Coffee shop turned into a real fish market! We created so much of noise. In all, the trip was one hell of a ride!

An Eventful New Year Celebration 2011!

Just when i was wondering, bored and thinking its going be another stupid new year celebration at some pub/disc spending money for dogs. My friends, Arnab and Sanket initiated mail thread on new year celebration . Of course, there were loads of suggestions from everyone in our group. But then we zeroed in on Yercadu Gelen Rock Estates. To be honest, most of us and i was thinking Yercadu out of all the places for a new year celebration what on earth?. How boring was the thing running in my mind. We had like 70-80 mails exchanged, couple of phone calls and con c. Cabs that we booked canceled by the cab companies, telecon's, and swaring each other :) But then, the trip was finally on!

We are all set to have a rocking new year. We had to wake up at 5.30Am which was quiet challenging. While we managed to wake up all the lazy bum's in the group, and i picked up Arnab,Shilpa, Sanket &Daru . Oh how can i forget, "Tiny Maatha" AKA Kavita, who woke us up on time.We were off to Suntrupth's place. While we were waiting too get off to the highway, our darling suntrupth took enough time to make-up lol. He even manged to drink milk ;) kidding guys. Finally, we are off... we started off the journey with some funny moments reading the sexpert section of Bangalore Mirror. We managed to have some breakfast at A2B krishangiri. Ah, some relaxation, music it went on... It was New year's eve, I, Arnab, Sanket started off with beers.. Sneha was the best, she always apolozied for her drunk behavior for the future :) lol...

We, Followed it by some fun moments in the cab, Pit stops for Page 3 pictures, We reached Yercadu. We received a warm welcome. It was Hi- Tea followed by more n more beer :) Luckily for me, my capacity and cpapbility to drink was on its best! We decided to visit the nearby water falls. Small one but a really nice one though. We had Fun moments playing in the waters. We planned to return to our rooms, on the way we managed to pluck some fresh oranges, which would help us in our tequila shots. The Gang was all set, the ladies decked up, The guys manged to find a place on the hill top. This is when The Gang met Jithin & Dhanya. The to be Newest Members of our gang. Jithin Casually, initiated a coversation with me. I requested them to join us for the party. They, glady accepted our Invite:)

The fun moments started off with us arranging the mini bar like we'd like to call it. Thanks to all the ladies for the mini bar, We had fun moments opening up the wine bottle without a cork opener:) The party was set up nicely and every one had quiet a few page3 pictures. Me Doing the shiela dance, Arnab doing the Munni dance. And Bappu AKA Sanket doing his indigenous Oriya Dance:) Thanks to Jithin for his DigiSLR. Group snaps, Ladies nites, celebrity poses. What not. A picture's worth a thousand words, they say. You can see it for yourself in the collage. Best of all was Adarsh getting high, followed by he kissing and hugging the rocks. We had a whole new meaning set for a Rocking new year :) Adarsh i m sure u do understand what i mean.

The best pick's of the trip:

1] Chandu AKA Suntrupth Taking everyone's trip. We thorughly enjoyed it.

Skandagiri, A night trek! And a Delightful experience!

A weekend, Yet another trip and an exhilarating experience. I was all set for a dull and a gloomy weekend. Anisha, my colleague, asked me what I was doing for the weekend. As I dint have a great agenda, I thankfully accepted her invite to go on a Night trek to skandagiri. It was Friday night on 12th of November 2010. The trip, was quiet tricky as it was on and off for a while. People were backing out and wanting to come. Rather, it was like a dilly dally situation. Finally the trip was on. I picked up Dennis, Joel ,Satish, Rashmi all of Anisha’s friends. We met up at MG Road Bangalore at about 12.00 AM and zoomed off to our destination.

On our way, we had lots of chit chatting, music, fun and when we hit the feat of nandi hills, we pit stopped for a beer rather, an energy drink. We were little lost with our directions, and Anisha managed to hear people talking in those silent forests. Apparently, we all thought it could be the ghosts. Ha Ha Ha. Thankfully, we were able to locate your destination. We found few guides who can help us with the directions. Here we go, Onze, douze, treize, allez allez allez. This is where we take off. Started the trek, it was a long long way before we could actually experience the beautiful sunrise. It was a 2 hour trek. All I could feel through the trek was sweat, thorns and the eagerness to see the sunrise. The journey was quiet adventurous and treacherous. But definitely worthwhile when we saw the sunrise. The moment we reached the top we slurped few beers and felt like it was heaven. We even had maggi, chai and omblet! Can you beat that? Someone had a shop on the hilltop! Voila. We took a lot of pictures of the sunrise and enjoyed the moment! It definitely was a power shot (canon). Now we were all set for a trek in the opposite direction. Getting down was even more tedious. Once we got down with some struggle, we slurped some limca and water. Ah ! it felt like elixir of life! Yes we hit the highway and took the road to our respective homes. I thank one and all who made this trip possible.

P.S

Thanks Anisha, Carthik, Dennis, Joel, Kelvin,Rashmi and Satish ! Three cheers to you guys Hurray!

Will publish the pictures soon.

Bekal n Wayand an Amazing Trip :)

Festive season around, loads of holidays, goodies and time to burn some rubber and smell the roads. Yes ,its time to travel and explore places. It was 29th Of October 2010 when 5 like minded maniacs decided to drive to Bekal, Kerala from Bangalore. We all agreed upon driving in our car in the night. As usual, we started late, than the expected time. 10.30 it was when Carthik, Varun, Neeta, Jaya and Rajesh Met at raja rajeshwari Arch. We zoomed off to our destination. Bekal it was! we zoomed off to coorg in 4 hrs. Thanks to some amazing driving by our champ varun:) From then on we had bad roads, Ran out of fuel, and waited for the petrol bunks to open up. In the meanwhile, we realized that it was early in the morning. Neeta, our photographer, started to explore her skills, until we could get some fuel. Here's when we found a drink called Poopy! LOL! apparently it turns out to be a soda:) It's not what you guys are thinking :)

Now is the time for some good roads. Yes we zoomed off to Bekal. Quickly, checked into a hotel.I must say bekal was not explored much. We had a quick nap, freshened up, and were off to have our breakfast. Breakfast, as expected was a nightmare in kerala. Varun, ended up having and allergy. Then we go in rounds to find the local beach. After some hassles we ended up finding this beach. The beaches were beautiful. Aloof, Apparently we were the only ones to be on the beach. We clicked few photographs, and ended up sleeping on the beach like there was no tomorrow. All of a sudden we become like baby's in the mothers lap. We had solid fun at the beach, headed to our hotel, freshened up And Headed to Bekal Fort. This is where the famous song from the movie Bombay was shot. Apparently varun was too keen in finding the Aravind Swamy point :). We spent some quality time at Bekal fort shooting a couple of pics in Neeta's Camera. Oh Yeah Neeta is a pro photographer of the group and she carry's a huge kit of lens and a pro camera :)

Just when the evening was creeping in, we dint know what to do to kill time. We drove down to Kasargode a nearby town, hoping that we could get to watch a movie. But, we ended up eating street side chat, Ice Cream and milkshakes in a ice cream parlor. On the way back, we experienced a puncture. Yes, we had a flat tier. I and varun stepped in and fixed it quickly :) We decided to spend another day at Bekal. Surprisingly, we woke up early, the next day decided to explore the un-explored areas of the same beach. Interestingly, we found a huge fishing camp all gathered for the kill. Yes we experienced a hug fish catch. And Guess what? Thats not all. We even experienced, the fall of a 2 huge STING RAY Fish. It was sad to see the STING RAY suffer and die. But,we were left with no other options. But to stand and watch. Well, we decided to dive in for some action in the sea. Following which we headed to the fort and other beaches near by for some photography and action. Needless to mention ,Atul Kasbekar AKA Rajesh had some brilliant out of focus shots :) and sultry looks.

Just when the night crept in, we decided to hit the roads and travel to wayanad :) Thx to some brilliant night driving by Carthik and Varun. We reached our destination early in the morning, with a lots of confusion and wrong turns. Yes Wayand it was. we decided to go to a falls. But, we had to trek to reach the place. The total distance of a trek was 3 kms. But we were all exhausted when we were done with the trekking:) Oh, yes the name of the falls was Meenumutti ;) which translates to fish had a head bang :) lol! We ended the trip with an amazing high! Thanks to my suggestion of having Toddy and Kappa :) We, all had lunch and rushed back to bangalore. By the time everyone were dropped in their respective places, it was 1.00 AM when we reached my place. Ofcourse, we had a lots of LOL, ROFLMAO moments on the way to Bangalore. Thanks to one and all who made this possible. Hip Hip Hurray!!!

PS:

1] Atul Kasbekar AKA Rajesh Is releasing few books, with the experience form this trip
Out of Focus - By Mr Santhanam, Dummies guide to Sultry Looks- By Atul Kasbekar AKA Rajesh

2] Neeta Will never strangle goats and will not jump from great heights

3] Varun will improvise on this head banging driving:)

The Journey From A College Guy To Working Professional!

L - I - F - E

Often used amongst people, Hows life? Hows life treating you ? Blah Blah Blah.

I was just sitting and wondering how life could change being a happy man to mourning looser ass :(
When at college, all that one need to do was to sit and read. Textbooks, Online Training etc. All for what ? To get a decent job, thick pockets, and have fun in life. Unfortunately things don't work that way in reality. Off late i realized that the more money you start earning the less the happiness and more the worries :) Which is so ridiculously true. Often wondered...

At College there were times i smoked bidi(Indian cigarette) And i was happy. Money was a concern, but i had no worries

Now i am a professional. I earn more than descent money to support a family. I smoke premier cigarette, I drink premium beer, quality of my living has raised, I have things of my own. I am independent! No-one asks me what i should be doing in life. But i lack happiness! that big ton smile on my face is missing :(

At college a pair of new port jeans was wow! a pair of Levis Jeans was Rich kid. But i was happy with a Rs 350 Stylish Jeans

Now, branded stuff are no less in my wardrobe! Levis, Lee, Tommy etc.. the list goes on.. The moments that i've been happy is less!

Sometimes i feel money makes a man Greedy! What should i do? Donate all stuff that i have say good bye, serve some NGO? Millions of thoughts running on my head :) Of course, i just a normal human being like u! Where do i go? what do i do ? when will i be happy?

I Jump jobs to buy new gadgets! Heights of being crazy! I want an extravagant life. I want everything in the world! I also fail to understand that one day i am going to the grave! Who's gonna enjoy all that i have earned? my kids? why should i give them an easy life? Why cant they make their own... To many thoughts and unhappy moments. I wish i was a school kid again! Want to get innocent! No relationship pains, no money worries, nothing at all! I wanna be a free bird!

Finally i'd like to end this short blog... The Journey from an kid to a man or a kid to a woman is not so easy though they say Life is Short! As if it's Just like a Fart! No my friend. Its a Journey. Its a Lesson. School, College, Professional, Boyfriend/Girlfiend, Husband/wife, Uncle/Aunty, Grandfather/Grandmother WOW! Life is shot. Its upto u to decide whether its cruel or wonderful!

Cheers All!

Carthik The Oracle DBA or The Standup Star!

My Career was always a dileama . I really dint know what be in life! Here i am sitting at Oracle Corporation the leading enterprise software company as a slave to computers. I really don't know whether its by choice or force. As humas we'd want to do N things in life. But how many are we efficiently able to do is a question mark!

I started off this post with all enthusiasm but, it took me over a month to get back and start writing this post. Well, to tell you more... I have had this unique talent of creating small jokes in a jiffy. My colleagues always suggested that i was in the wrong place doing the wrong thing in life. I should Rather be a stand up star. Someone like Russell Peter's , Sugar Samy, Chris Rock etc etc... I always felt good. Not one or 2 millions of them suggested me a career move. But Kya kare... Like the Old Hindi Saying Goes "Papi Peth Ka Sawaal Hai" Meaning All for a smooth living i cant quit my job. I was so much into stand up comedy that i went on to research for Stand up schools in London. Well the research ended there.

But then this spirit is rekindled in me now because , i have a Innovative manager now who's popularly known as Jigs you could otherwise call him Mr Hillary. You know Hes one of the Kind. If you ever want your kids to give an example of how Mr Edmond Hillary or Tensing Norgay look and behave like you could always quote him! You could probably video tape one of his speech's. When i think of all i do and want be in life. YES the answer lies in or rather my heart tells me that i m More Of a Stand up Star than a self sucking Software Engineer. The feeling of making 10 ppl laugh is simply amazing! They want more stuff from you. Your only motto in life is to find stereotypes in life. Quote them and they'll laugh! Mind you ! you get paid quick bucks for it!

So for now i m stuck to "Papi Peth Ka Sawaal Hai" leading a dogie style life. Making some one richer and richer shattering my dreams. One Day i m sure i ll be on my own as a Stand up Star! I can only imagine my Guru Russell Peter's Quote! If i Go to America and get White Women Then I am ahead of the Game!

Cheers,
Carthik

Bangalore To Chennai A Sucker Of A Journey!

Again Its been a while that i did my favorite thing yeah, Blogging it is. Yes my friends, i m back again sitting at home, fed up with the kind of work i do. Writing this blog, hoping this relieves all the pressure that go through. I was traveling to Chennai from Bangalore city on the 17th Of July 2009. My destination was home! The Rail boxes were kinda empty. I was hoping that i could relax, sleep like a log and then read some magazines on the way to chennai. Stations's Passed by... I was again fooled by the Indian population , crowd started coming in. I was getting restless and irritated as usual. I believe we reached KR Puram Junction. Where a 3 yr old kid Malawika gave a guest appearance along with her parents. Time went on slowly.... Mind you it was a 6 hr journey. In the next station 2 huge a double rhino sized aunty's entered the compartment. My Luck was so bad, they sat next to me! The last thing that i could remember after they sat next to me was "I was their piece of Meat" I dint get enough space to sit in my seat. They would buy some shit smelling flowers, start tying them on a thin rope, Aewh! It was awful! I never had such a horrific experience in a train journey! while my train Journey had already become a sucker of a journey! I decided to take a U turn...

Here's what the U turn is. Malawika the Kid who was sitting bang opposite to me, I started to converse with her, asking few things about her name school.. best friends etc.. it was when i had traveled 4 hrs and i had 2 hours in my bag. The conversation became interesting, The kid started liking me and she looked at my guitar and asked what it was. I explained her and she wanted to play the guitar! WOW... I thought her how to play a D chord :) The kid would ask me Uncle this is too big for me will i get a small guitar ;) Yeah u will i said... So the last 2 hours of my Journey was entertained! Wow wat a difference form a sucker of a Journey to a Pleasant memorable experience. I really felt refreshed and nice by the time i reached chennai. I narrated this whole incident to my family members and they had to laugh about it :) Finally when it was time to say god bye the kid tells me why don't u come with us to our place ;) Indeed it was this kid who changed my mood from a Sucker of a Journey to a memorable , pleasant , and fun filled one!

Cheers,
Carthik

Guhantara, The Road That was not taken!

Yet Another quarter of the year, Yet another Team outing. I am all excited about this trip. The website is fantastic. The description of the place is awesome! Pratheek is out outing co-coordinator. The Bangalore Weather is beautiful, we were asked to assemble at the office premises at 8.00 AM IST. As usual IST 8.00 AM =9.30 AM. We all started at 9.30 AM. Located at Kanakpura Road, Guhantera a road that was not taken often by people. Apart from the whether, the aroma of country soil, unpolluted air! It's really an amazing feeling. We Reached the pace by 10.30 AM. We'r all set to have some fun and be party animals for few hours.

Right when we entered the place, we saw this sand beach volley ball kinda set up. I was reminded of my school days. Volley ball is a fun game! We accepted the shitty welcome drink gratefully :) waited for a bunch of creeps to complete their game. We Started the game and we beat our opponents (few of our team mates at work place) to a humiliating 2-0 defeat. I should mention, that this game was fun filled. Each one of us were exhilarated. During the 3rd game we were interrupted by a bunch of another creeps. Thats alright. It was time to get high and have food. Sarkar, Narma, Mohan , pratheek , i and My manager were the group of drunken monkeys that day. We go high. The best part was pratheek getting high and puking in his plate. All through the time he was sloshed and his head wouldn't raise. After all the drinking , eating merry making session , was the time to hit the pool. We swam for a while like a group of whales. Ha Ha Ha.. Hilarious comment wasn't it?

Its time for the rain dance. We started to have fun, dancing like crazy people. The moment the music was on, we felt like pro dancers. Although, the only thing each one of us knew was to shake our legs, hips and asses. Mohan, a colleague of mine made new friends(i believe gay friend) ha ha .. when the rain dance was on. Here comes this part called "The Raise and the Fall" . For a moment, i was sky rocketed i was on top of the world. These 2guys mohan and his newly formed friend lifted me up in the air, i had a feeling of being a rock star. Kurt Cobain, MJ etc.. Lots of emotions running through my mind. The next minute all i could hear was a "Thud". I was put down. No major injuries. Still i managed to scratch my face. Thanks to the alcohol . I swear it saved me that day. Now after the fall, this nursery rhyme " Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall... Humpty Dumpty had a great fall" Was running through my mind. Thus,
"The Raise and the Fall". In the meanwhile, it was time for a Tea, biscuits, and other snacks. I had a tough time in managing Prateek, the organizer of the the trip. He was Drunk and could not walk by himself. We all wrapped up, time to say good bye and get back to work! For now it's Audios Amigos.... Guhantara, The Road that was not often taken was a pleasant visit.

Me Myself and My Hard Drive :)

In the recent Days i have developed this strange habit of misplacing my USB hard drive. Though it's not worth writing a blog for it. I conveniently felt i should go-ahead and write it. It was a fine monring, don't remember the dates. My colleage Suvendu sends me an sms . Buddy Pls bring your hard drive... I searched searched and searched. I felt my efforts are to go in vain. I reached office with despair. I remembered that i had given my hard drive to Sanoth one another colleague of mine. When i asked him about it his answer was negative. I was wondering and came home in the evening and started my searching attempt again. Thankfully i found the hard drive in my laptop bag.

Now i'll describe the second incident when i lost my hard drive. I mean, the presumed loss. I was asked for my hard drive on this occation by Sarkar my colleague. I mentioned that the hard drive was at my place and that he could drop me after work and pick up the hard disk. Well Sarkar drops me. I was searching again in vain... I serioulsy could not remember where on earth i misplaced my hard drive. WTF is happening i was completely lost. I tell sarkar that the drive should be at the office drawer, he leaves my place. Next day we search for it in my drawer could not find it! damn it! I go back to Santosh again asking for it. He says buddy you should probally write a blog on this . Here i am writing my story now. Next i call up vikash , Bhabani all my colleagues. The answer was negative again! I came home, sat down searched for the hard drive. I could not find it. I started to think in a relaxed mood. I realised that few days ago one of my friends wanted my Hard drive because he was about to format his system. The time i recollected this , i placed a call to him. He gave me an affirmative answer! Ah! i felt! All that mattered at the end of the day is i got something to write :) I am extrememly happy blogging once again! Cheers !!! This calls for a glass of Beer he he :) Any how , i will keep posting my future experiences on my assumed hard drive loss. I hope i dont loose it for real :)

Rain Rain Go Away Come Again Nother day!

Its another shameless month of No blogging for me. However, i choose to remain shamelessly lazy again. But my instincts tempt me to write more.. So i sat down decided to write about a rainy day which apparently happened to be my Birth day!

It was another glorious day. The 10th Of June 2009. It was my birthday . The day kicked off well. Birthday celebrations at office. Cake Cutting, Butt Kicking etc... Friends calling ... Known ppl unknown people It was a good feeling.

I was out with my friend, Having my dinner. The conversation went on and on and on. I was having my favorite Lasagna. It was 10.30 Pm. Me and Tan were wondering whether the rain god's Ass was ripped apart! Trust me in the name of god, it was raining cats and gods in the literal sense. We had no choice but to leave the restaurant, because the restaurant was starting to be flooded place. We were accompanied by a waiter in the restaurant with a huge umbrella. Thankfully we reached our car. The only intention of mine at that point in time was to reach home. Thanks to the Bangalore's drainage system. Most of the rain god's tears was left over on the roads. We could hardly see the roads. Cars were sunk literally in the flood. We were scrolling on the streets with this DESTINATION HOME! Slowly and Steadily we would escape one flooded road after the other. We Halted somewhere near HAL. Our intention was to give some breather of a time for the CAR. Poor guy wouldn't have been able to to take so much of pressure. He He.

Some how our instincts took us Home. All i could spell out , was a sigh of relief. But Thank God for such a wonderful day and such a beautiful experience. I will post few pictures of the rainy day ASAP.

I Would End This Post by saying " Rain Rain Go Away, Come Again Another Day!"

A Replica Austrailan Cricket Team(DBA Dashers!)

I know its been a long time since i've blogged! Again i shamelessely have some excuse or the other to come up with. Was busy with work, blah... blah... blah... Ok let me get to the intention behind this blog. We have something called the employee club at our work place. The employee club organized a Cricket tournoment, I was neither that excited about cricket tournoments nor am i a great cricket fan! well i still started practicing my bowling action, i got stuck with a muscle pull. Then, as the days went by, the de day arrived when we had to face our opponents! It was on a beautiful saturday morning 9th of May 2009. We hit the ground at J.P nagar. It was our turn to bowl. Snaps of the team were taken , we were all set with our team jersey's on. I'd rather say we were all flashy and well known as the defending CHAMPS!

As usual , our lucky captain Animesh lost the toss and we were put to field. Our bowling dint go that well, it was a 8 over match. Thanks to some poor bowling, we allowed the oponents to make 74 from 8 overs. Now it was our turn. All i could remember is my colleague's words. "The Game Is Not Over Till We Win" Sarkar and Omar our usual suspects, opened the batting for us. Bang Bang! Sarkar made 26 out of the first over. I felt ah! its gonna be a piece of cake! Next came omar he dealt with 6's as well. I even heard someone say send that ball to Kashmir Valley! So towards the end of the 5th over we were HOME! yeppie yeppie we WON!

Next we had to play with another team to be in the quarter finals! They were called some Raptors. Oh in the entire conversation i even forgot to metion our Team name we are called "DBA DASHERS". Again not to mention, we lost the toss. Our bowling was quiet descent this time. Still the Raptors Managed to make 76 in overs. Thanks to some misfields and extras! it was our turn now. Sarkar gave up this time with a caught and bowled by the bolwer in the very 1st over. We were all nervous. We had some ray of hope when Omar our star batsman dealt with 4's. Some poor fielding from the opotion saved the day! I heard someone in the ground hey, which team is this ? i've never heard of em before. One of thier team mates replied. Relax jackass, these guys are the defending CHAMPS for the past 2 years! That to me, was pure neglection to have your GK right! The match went on we were lucky enough to survive, we made it in the 7th over this time. The day ended Hurray! we were in the quater finals! It was rather a refreshing day and somthing different from the usual work. We were all delighted we felt like we were unbeaten. A replica Australian Cricket Team!

The Best of All these was our team mate Rushikesh getting his finger hurt for an uncaught catch which was really not a part of the match. Pratap our team mate takes a catch and throws up in the Air, Rushi the man who was excited tried to get it and in the process he broke his finger. Wola ! who can do that except for Rushi!

Acquire Hire and Fire!

Recession hits its peak. While i was lazing around at my work place, i.e. when i had tons of homemade food. I hit my colleague’s desk, just for a professional talk. He uttered a name silently. Ah i was wondering it could have been some argument between him and the other guy. He Said Buddy He's Fired! WHAT! I exclaimed! We were all gossip mongers or receivers through the day. Not only that they said they fired 8 of em. Unbelievable the support community was hit as well. On one side the company was acquiring various other TOP IT companies, hiring new people. Firing on the other hand? what on earth? I just don’t get the idea!

The day was extremely nervous, all that was running and still running through my mind is what if i were next? The Managers themselves dint know who would be next? whether they could be fired. Suddenly another colleague of mine tells me that the organization is planning for a 15 % downsize. It was a big question mark for me what have i become in life by choosing to be a SOFTWARE ENGINEER! That’s when i felt gone are those gaudy days when you were a software engineer people used to respect you. It is said that in this place called BANGALORE, you throw a stone it either its a DOG or a TECHIE. My mind quivered into Pythagoras theorem

DOG= TECHIE? It sounded true to me for a while. How cruel the so called corporate world could get? Lots of questions started flooding my mind. Unfortunately i dint have an answer to any one of them. I just decided to calm myself and start reading this novel “The Pianist". Patience is virtue they say. So i decided to stick to the old saying and will not bother bout this "ACQUIRE, HIRE AND FIRE” policy of some normal human being.

This confusing thought is still continues to JAM up my brains , refusing to eat drink and piss. This feeling is really bad and shitty. No one should go-through this feeling. I feel like a Psycho Jack ass. While i am sitting at office while i am writing this last paragraph. For the first time in life i feel i need a psychiatrist, a councilor, a sweet girl friend to talk to ? what not the feelings and EMOTIONS are running high. Now its time for me to get back to FREAKING WORK! If not it might be my ass on the firing line! Adios Amigos !

History of the word FUCK!

The Word FUCK, The most sweetest and beautiful word in English language has many origins. It is believed to be derived from the German word called FRICHEN meaning To Strike. In ancient England a person could not have sex unless you had consent of the King (unless you were in the Royal Family). When anyone wanted to have a baby, they got consent of the King, the King gave them a placard that they hung on their door while they were having sex. The placard had F.*.*.*. (Fornication Under Consent of the King) on it. Now you know where that came from. So it could also be English! This also shows that the Word FUCK is truly a word that brings about unity admit diversity and Race.

I always heard that "F.U.C.K." originated in the 1800's in London, when they used to charge prostitutes "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge". So officer got sick and tired of writing those, um, lessee, 26 characters, not including spaces, so it got abbreviated FUCK and stuck. There are Many word that begin with the word F in the English language. But the word FUCK is one only word that is called the 'F' Word! Perhaps the word FUCK is the most interesting word in the English language. Fuck doesn't Necessarily mean sexuality. It can be used any where and everywhere in the English language. Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Adverb.Transitive Verb, In-Transitive verb etc.. It's used to express Joy, pain, pleasure, hate, love, irritation. You name it you can use it in any damn Fucking sentence. Because the word F.U.C.K is fucking too good to resist.Let me tell you friends, the word is Global now. Its no longer outsourced! its used equally well everywhere ;)

Usage of the word FUCK. Its the One Magical word! As a transitive verb "John, fucked Shirley". As a intransitive verb "Shirley fucked". As an adverb " She Fucking talks too much" As and Adjective " John does all the fucking work". As an Adverb enhancing an Adjective "She's Fucking Beautiful" Or simply as a word "Absolute fuckinglutly, or fucking credible". Aggression "Don't Fuck with me buddy!". Inquiry " Who the Fuck is that". Dissatisfaction "I don't Fucking like what you are doing".
